About Dostal Catering

Dostal Catering is the oldest operating catering business in Eastern Iowa.   For the past 18 years Frank Stephen, Owner, has continued to operate the business in the same tradition of the Dytrt and Dostal families.   “He (Matt Dostal) taught me value, good serving technique, and how to treat people well.”  

Dostal Catering has served Presidents and foreign delegations, union picnics and factory dinners.  We have catered events of 3000 guests and office parties of 25. We have catered seven weddings on one Saturday.  Our staff will get the job done and each customer will be treated like they are the only customer.

Dostal Catering has one of the widest selections of fine foods anywhere; choice lean meats, garden fresh vegetables, old world quality baked breads, and tempting desserts. All selections prepared by our ServSafe® Certified kitchen staff. We'll deliver everything and serve you and your guests in grand style.

We are located in Czech Village, just up the street from the National Czech and Slovak Museum.
